Oscar-Heinrich Berning is a German lawyer of German-Italian origin with several years of work experience in cross-border legal transactions in law firms in Germany and Luxembourg. In addition, he worked full-time for more than three years as the managing director of a real estate company in Italy and has thus become very familiar with business life in Italy. He advises our Italian clients in particular on commercial and labour law.
In addition, our tax team includes other German-Italian employees who are able to communicate competently and reliably in Italian with our Italian clients on all relevant tax issues.
Advice on labour law, in particular individual labour law
Legally secure employment contracts with qualified employees are indispensable for optimal and sustainable expansion. The focus of our labour law advice for Italian clients is therefore the drafting of bilingual employment contracts and managing director contracts as well as general advice on all other aspects of individual labour law. In addition, we offer individual advice on the secondment of Italian employees to Germany.

Commercial and distribution law
Another core competence of the Italian Desk is advising on all aspects of distribution law. For example, we advise our clients on the drafting of bilingual commercial agency and authorised dealer agreements.
In addition, our German-Italian lawyer supports Italian companies in drafting bilingual general terms and conditions as well as in all questions related to e-commerce.
